Terra Nova Laser 20L Elite Ultralight Rucksack

Laser 20L Elite Rucksack with 12oz Gatorade

When's the last time you were wowed by a piece of gear? I mean, the kind of pick-it-up and shake your head kind of wow? That's the feeling you get when you pick up the Laser Elite pack from Terra Nova. At only 7.4 ounces, the Laser Elite weighs little more than a half of a can of Coke!

This rucksack is topped by a velcro closure and clips reminiscent of a dry bag. This arrangement allows for a variety of different carry configurations, from small to large loads. The velcro is very secure, and two pull tabs make for easy
entry:

Moving to the side of the pack, a generous mesh pocket large enough to carry a Nalgene or other type of bottle graces each side. Adjustable compression cords above the pockets will help control gear on the outside of the pack:

Generous side pockets and ultralight compression straps keep gear under control
The Elite has lightly padded shoulder straps with multiple loops to make adjustments. They are backed with mesh to allow for breathability:

The Elite's center strap secures the pack to your chest and an integrated whistle adds a nice touch of safety if you're ever in need of help:

The unpadded waist belt has integrated pockets with diminutive waterproof zippers:

So far, the Terra Nova Elite pack looks to be an ideal platform on which to build a high quality survival kit. We're pretty far along with building a world-class kit.
